Life with young kids can often feel fast paced, exhausting and over whelming, and it is a difficult time to be able to stop, look around, and see all the beautiful, little fleeting moments that make up family life; the chaos, the sleepy times, the giggles, the tears, the cuddles, the bed jumping, and quiet hangs that all tell your family’s unique story.

After the session you will wonder if I managed to get anything at all, but once you receive your images you will see a series of images that feel warm, intimate, and full of life and completely, uniquely you.

With a focus on creating a relaxed environment, and free from the studio - your sessions allows your family to interact in a natural way, in familiar settings like your home or a favourite outdoor spot, allowing you to just be you.

Home Vs Outdoors?

I love to shoot in all natural environments, either in the home or a beautiful outdoor location at sunset. Both options have their pros and cons, feel free to give me a call to discuss what is right for you!

But here is a few tips ill share:

Outdoor Sessions

Pros //

Use some of Sydney's beautiful locations at golden hour for beautiful light!
Great option if you feel like your home won't suit for a session or you don't have enough natural light.
Provides opportunity for kids to roam and play free

Cons//

Best suited at last hour or 2 of the day which may be tricky timing for little ones!
It is more reliant on weather and something like windy or cold days could effect the outcome.
For toddlers having too much room to run around could mean alot of chasing!
