The Body Project
The Body Project is an annual personal project by Martine, created to help women reconnect with and celebrate the beauty of their diverse bodies.
In its fourth consecutive year, women are invited to respond to an open call and step into a powerful and intimate experience — spending a day exploring vulnerability, self-acceptance and connection, while being photographed nude in a safe and supportive space.
The intention is simple: to honour the body as it is — capturing the curves, lines, details and stories that make each woman unique.
Throughout the day, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in body-focused discussions and activities facilitated by Arts Psychotherapist Lana Sussman, alongside relaxed and creative art workshops with Jessica Davina.
The day is about slowing down, connecting with other women, sharing stories and seeing ourselves — perhaps a little more kindly — through a different lens.
At the end of the day, participants will also have the opportunity to be part of a group portrait, creating a collective image of the women who shared this experience.
