My newborn sessions are one hour, and in the comfort of your own home. Free from the hours long studio commitments. All the beautiful images created right inside your newborn cocoon.

New Born FAQs

Where and when are New Born Sessions usually done?

Generally we aim for a weekday morning, in the home, where everyone is most comfortable and is easiest for the family.

When is the best age for new born shoots?

I generally tell families to book me in when they feel comfortable and ready. I dont have any specific windows you 'have to' do it within. For that tiny new born phase we would aim for the first few weeks but would only want to do it when everyone is ready. Some mums need extra time for recovery after birth and some babies need time to sort out feeding issues etc. Im very flexible and work around you. I would say the earliest possible for you! That's often around 2-3 weeks window.

How can we book a new born date before birth?

This is tricky for obvious reasons! If you are hoping to have a new born session, it is best to get in touch during your pregnancy so we can confirm all your details and packages you would like, then you can get in touch as soon as you give birth, and I can generally fit you in within 2 weeks of contacting me.
If you do know your date because you're being induced or having a caesarean, they we can always pencil in a date 2-3 weeks after birth.

How do we get our photos?

Your photos are delivered via an online digital gallery. If you have selected the Unlimited package, download instructions will be sent immediately, otherwise you select your 20 images from that gallery.

How many photos do we get?

You will come away from a 1 hour session with around 80-100 digital images, all edited.

How do I select my 20 images?

If you have opted for the 20 digital images package, then once you receive your full gallery, you will be able to create a favourites folder to create your selects.

Do you edit all photos?

Yes all photos you will receive will be edited and treated to look a certain way. Usually around 2/3 colour and 1/3 black and white.

Whats your turn around time?

Within 7 days.
