Life with young kids can often feel fast-paced, exhausting, and overwhelming, it is often difficult to stop and look around and actually acknowledge those beautiful, fleeting moments. In my sessions, I capture it all; the chaos, the sleepy times, the giggles, the tears, the cuddles, the bed jumping, and the quiet hangs. I hope that when you receive your gallery back, you can view your family through my eyes and see all the beautiful details that shine through. All those little memories can now be materialised into photographs.

As a family photographer, I focus on capturing the natural beauty of your family's everyday moments. After the session, you may wonder if I managed to capture anything at all, but once you receive your family photos, you will see a series of images that feel warm, intimate, full of life, and completely, uniquely yours.



With a focus on creating a relaxed environment, free from the studio, your session allows your family to interact naturally in familiar settings like your home or a favourite outdoor spot, allowing you to be yourself.

Choosing the Best Setting for Your Family Portraits

I love to shoot in all natural environments, either in the home or a beautiful outdoor location at sunset. Both options have their pros and cons. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss what is right for you!

But here are a few tips I'll share:

Pros //

• Take advantage of Sydney’s natural beauty at the golden hour for beautiful light
• Great if you feel your home isn’t the right setting or lacks natural light
• Provides opportunity for kids to roam and play free

Cons//

• Best suited to the last 1–2 hours of the day, which may be tricky for little ones
• Highly reliant on the weather, windy or cold days could affect the outcome.
• For toddlers, having too much room to run around could mean a lot of chasing!

HOME SESSIONS

Pros //

• I love the warm lighting within a home
• Provides great opportunity for different nooks within the home and bed cuddles
• I also love even shooting in the bath or shower sometimes!
• Good to contain active kids in a space they're comfortable with
• Great to have a creative safe space for shy kids

Cons //

• Not suited if your home has very little natural light!
